Being interested in audio and music since his childhood, Adrià M. Cassorla received a Music Bachelor with Sonology specialisation in Barcelona (ESMUC). After that, he spent two years combining a music editor and sound designer job at the Catalan Broadcasting Corporation with freelance tonmeister recordings such as classical music productions or mixing and mastering film music. In 2018 he decided to progress to a more scientific and engineering-based career, studying an MSc in Audio and Music Technology at the University of York. Currently, he is researching the creative affordances of multi-device orchestration (MDO) systems in collaboration with the BBC R&D Department. In his spare time, he likes to practice open water swimming and landscape photography.
