Biography
Francis Stevens received the M.Eng.(Hons.) degree in Electronic Engineering with Music Technology Systems and the Ph.D. degree in Music Technology, both from the University of York, Heslington, York, U.K., in 2014 and 2019 respectively. His research interests include environmental sound measurement, modelling, and evaluation. He is a Lecturer in Audio and Music Technology in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the University of York where he teaches, amongst other things, digital signal processing in MATLAB, acoustics and psychoacoustics, synthesiser design, and foundation year electronics. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society.
