Biography

Haowen graduated from the University of York (2021) with an MSc in Audio and Music Technology. He re-joined the AudioLab in October 2022 after working as an audio engineer to begin his research into 6 Degrees-of-Freedom (6DoF) audio for Virtual Reality (VR); this includes hybrid acoustic modelling methods for real-time calculation. He is currently looking at perceptual differences in different acoustic rendering methods.
