Biography
Mario Alberto Vallejo Reyes is a researcher and audio engineer at the University of York. He holds a Master’s degree in Audio and Music Technology from the University of York, a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Universidad Da Vinci, and a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering from SAE Institute.
His research focuses on psychoacoustics and audio technology, contributing to the Enhancing Audio Description project. Mario has nearly a decade of experience in professional recording studios and live audio environments. He has worked on a Latin Grammy-nominated project and his productions have amassed over 1.5 billion streams. Additionally, he has produced Dolby Atmos mixes featured on Apple Music’s official playlists. In his teaching role, Mario instructs students in sound design and production techniques, preparing them for careers in audio engineering.
