Biography
Wenjun’s research on bel canto singing focuses on improving Italian pronunciation for native Mandarin speakers, based on voice science. She performs classical Western repertoires as well as Chinese national repertoires in various venues. In addition to performing, she also teaches singing. Wenjun has completed two Master’s degrees: an MA in Music Education, specializing in one-to-one vocal and instrumental teaching, and an MA in Music Performance Practice. She also works as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Music Education course. As part of the ACT School international team, she manages and edits the school’s Chinese social media platforms.
