Biography
David is a PhD candidate exploring how everyday devices such as smartphones and laptops can be utilised to create accessible and immersive audio experiences, in collaboration with XR Stories and BBC R&D. Prior to this, he graduated with an MSc in Audio Production from Salford University (2019), and subsequently worked at Fraunhofer IIS in Germany, researching Next-Generation-Audio (NGA) applications for speech intelligibility. Outside of his PhD, David enjoys rock climbing, football and music production.
